Where We Are

In the small village of Saint Maria Chiara Nanetti and in the humble land of the Blessed Maria Bolognesi.

Ghirelli is located on the border between Veneto and Emilia Romagna, and is a short walk from the medieval town of Ferrara, a “city of art” whose historic center is a World Heritage Site.

Within the town there are two monuments of great artistic importance: The Cathedral, built in the 12th Century, still bearing the marks of all the historical periods of the city; and the Castello Estense, Ferrara’s majestic symbol with its four towers surrounded by a moat.
